How would you define your personal style and who are your style icons?

I would say my personal style is simple, focusing on shape and silhouette rather than print. I like to feel comfortable in my clothes and invest in pieces I can truly wear. I hate to be cliché, and it’s probably overdone now, but Jane Birkin has always been a real style icon to me, as has CBK and those more minimal ’90s figures. I feel those women really wore the clothes, rather than the other way around.

What does your typical day look like and what inspires you the most?

My typical day, Monday to Friday, is focused on work: finding products for The Yellow World, writing my Substack, and working on consultancy projects, alongside taking my son to and from nursery. I always try to move or have a quick coffee with a friend, just to break up the day a little if I can.

What's the item in your wardrobe that you would never give up?

Probably my Cartier Baignoire watch; it holds huge sentimental value for me, and it’s something that works now and will still work when I’m 80.

What’s your go to spot when you are at home?

My go-to spot when I’m at home… It's not very glamorous, but I love sitting on the floor. I always sit next to my sofa while watching TV; it feels cosy. Maybe it’s the underfloor heating, I don’t know!

Your current bed side reading?

The Year of Magical Thinking by Joan Didion.

Best advice you have ever received?

It’s okay to take your time; things don’t need to happen all at once.
