Love Notes - Allegra and Camillo

Allegra's BioI’m Allegra, 38, from Milan. I began my career in the beauty industry, working with luxury fashion brands such as Armani, YSL, and Dior. My passion for fashion stems from my grandmother, who, with her blazers and powerful looks, has always been an inspiration to me. She had been running her own company since the ‘70s, and I vividly remember her at her desk as a child—perfect red nails, her jewels, voluminous hair, and a padded-shoulders jacket. I was fascinated by her style and her free-spirited personality, her boldness, and her sense of humor.
Camillo's BioI’m Camillo, 26, currently living in Frankfurt, Germany, where I’m pursuing my master’s degree. My girlfriend, Allegra, and I are often going back and forth between Milan and Frankfurt, but our long-term goal is to finally live together in one place. My style motto is “less is more,” and I feel BLAZÉ Milano perfectly represents that aesthetic.

Favorite spot for a first date:

Allegra: My boyfriend and I met in Liguria, at a small bar by the sea at sunset, so it was definitely the perfect spot. But for a date in Milan, I would choose the bar at Villa Necchi. I should actually take him there next time!
Camillo: There are countless beautiful spots for a first date, but I’d choose a seaside location over and over again—just like our own first date. Listening to the sound of the waves, sipping a glass of wine, and watching the sunset is simply magical.

How would you style your smiley pocket for your first date?

Allegra: On a first date, I always try to feel at ease and choose a look that makes me feel comfortable and confident. I would style the jacket with a pair of pleated trousers or with a jumper and a pencil skirt, like the one I’m wearing today.
Camillo: I’d keep it simple and timeless: blue jeans, black loafers, and a turtleneck sweater.

What do you like the most about each other?

Allegra: What I love most about Camillo is his sensitivity, generosity, and constant thoughtfulness. We are always very synced and have a lot of fun together.
Camillo: Among Allegra’s many wonderful qualities, I especially love her warm-heartedness, patience, and positivity. With her, I can talk about anything, and even without words, she knows what’s on my mind. We share serious conversations, laughter, and even tears. Although we come from different backgrounds, I’ve always felt our souls were connected—almost as if we knew each other before we actually met. Beyond being lovers, we’re best friends at heart—and that profound bond is the true foundation of our relationship.

What does love smell like to you?

Allegra: I never thought I would find someone so similar to me in the way we approach life. To me, love smells like home and friendship in Montemarcello: Like vinyl records played while we cuddle on the couch. Like walks with the dogs along the shore and our deep conversations under the stars.
Camillo: For me, love smells like a fresh sea breeze, sun-kissed salty skin, and that indescribable hint of summer freedom.

If you would have a chance to meet up with Cupid, what would you ask him and why?

Allegra: If I spoke with Cupid, I would thank him for bringing us together on a summer evening that changed our lives. Even though we come from two different countries, and different generations, we've always felt deeply connected. It’s true, as Baricco says in Oceano Mare: "You're never too far apart to find each other."
Camillo: I’d ask him how to keep the spark alive forever—how to preserve that sense of wonder and excitement in our relationship as the years go by.

Three suggestions for a perfect Valentine:

Allegra: A getaway to the seaside, a romantic dinner at home cooking together or a flight to Paris.
Camilla: Sleep in late and enjoy a slow morning, treat yourselves to a leisurely brunch or dance the night away under the stars.
