Erin Pollard observed the craft of basketry as a child, watching her mother weave and teach workshops in Maine. After almost two decades working in fashion in New York, Erin began weaving her own path. Through sharing her woven art, Erin and her mother began designing and creating together and Underwater Weaving Studio was born.
What’s so good about BLAZÉ pieces is their versatility. They make you feel sexy but strong and intelligent. I feel most myself in an outfit with some masculine energy. I love showing some leg, and this piece is a short skirt, a long jacket, and a blazer all in one. I could style it a new way every day of the week and never get sick of it.
What do you wear on date night?
A fall date night always calls for a blazer. If we’re going somewhere fancy, maybe a pair of colored tights and a cowboy bootie—always with a red lip and a basket!
What’s special about the BLAZÉ Milano to you?
The pieces are workhorses! They are so fun to style. There are those pieces in your wardrobe that you just keep and go back to repeatedly because they feel like you. The women behind this brand get how women want to feel.
